Think about the things you do everyday: How many of those are done in auto-pilot? Closing the door, turning the water tap, seeing passers-by on the street, taking a bite off your breakfast; replying ‘lol’.
The number of things that you did on auto-pilot today are the same number of things that you did not live today. We only live what we consciously experience. That’s why you get sad with the thought of losing something or someone close – because you regret not having lived it to the fullest. If you did, there would be no regret.
Living every moment might seem hard, but it becomes easier everyday you practice it. One day, you’ll realise every single second of your life. And at that moment, you’ll understand that you are here and everywhere: you are timeless.
